The Canovis Difference

Canovis Health strives to formulate the best products using science and a vast amount of Cannabinoid health studies, which leads us to include a variety of Cannabinoids depending on the formulation and the targeted effect. We DO NOT cut cost to increase our margins. We add a minimum of 5% of CBG to all formulations. Therefore, our largest difference in this market place is we include a high percentage of CBG (not just a trace) in all of our products. In addition, we also include our own proprietary blend of Essential Oils and Terpenes, which work together with our Pharma Grade CBD and Pharma Grade CBG to create a highly beneficial effect.

What is CBG?

Cannabigerol (CBG) is one of the many active compounds known as cannabinoids that can be found in the industrial hemp plant. In recent years, scientific interest in CBG has been growing at a steady rate. CBG is found in lower concentrations than THC or CBD, and it differs from these compounds in a number of ways. Unlike THC, CBG has no psychoactive properties, and therefore will not get you high. Despite often being overlooked in favor of THC and CBD, it seems that CBG could provide a wealth of benefits of its own.

CBG is present only in trace amounts in most cannabis/hemp strains, which make it very limited and in turn expensive. Many formulations will not reduce their margins to include CBG in any significant amount due to the high cost. Yet, CBG display a multitude of potential health benefits yet more studies need to be conducted as well as research. However, early studies seem to indicate that CBG benefits may include working as a neuroprotectant, having antioxidant properties, aiding with skin ailments as an antibacterial and antifungal agent, appetite stimulation, treatment of gastrointestinal disorder, inflammation reduction. Further studies suggest there may be benefits which show promise in fighting cancer, and lowering intraocular pressure, which may benefit glaucoma patients.

Among other benefits, promising studies and research has been conducted outside of the United States that suggest Cannabinoids like CBG and CBD may target the following conditions:

  • Pain
  • Inflammation
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
